QipBox has been on the tips of our virtual tongues for quite some time. We wanted something that allowed users to create collections of “stuff” that they can share with their mates or the world. We don’t claim that this is a technical revolution but we do think it’s a fun concept.

We won’t claim that we “invented” this thing – it’s a mash-up of a few sites that have been doing the rounds over the last few years. Perhaps the biggest difference is that QipBox allows anyone to create their own satirical, political, whatever site in a few seconds. The anonymity of the thing helps users to be a bit more risqué than they might be on their own blog or forum.

We try to keep an eye on particularly offensive material and any user can report a Qip as offensive or unsuitable. We endeavor to look at flagged Qips as quickly as we cannot guarantee that some people won’t be offended by some of the material on this site.
