Ok, sometimes you make some really loverly homes.

But most often than not the whole experience is soured by

1) Delays finishing
2) Pressure for you to move in the date they say it's built and ready to move it
3) Them not been arsed by your list of complaints about the unfinished house you've just been forced to move into.

Come on new home builders, the motor industry have it sorted out, and when errors do occur they have something called after sales service.
